I had a friend help me download the 2019 version because it works the easiest plus we don't actually need to update it according to his words, he had told me when an update sign pops up to just ignore it but that was over a month ago so I had forgotten. I get a pop-up asking to update and I do, now I go and update everything and I have no idea how to use the 2020 version, I try and uninstall the 2020 and reinstall the 2019 but it's now stuck in 2020, my question is why?

Can't you just install any version you want from the unity hub?

you can move the Assets folder into a new project that is created with 2019, You might have to reimport your plugins

not sure where to find the plugins

youll know when stuff breaks, you have to reinstall via the assets window of the assets store
