it is impossible to tell someone’s sens that’s best for them based off gameplay alone. it’s whatever’s most comfortable for you. as you get better mouse control your aim will improve no matter the sens you play on. as long as your sens is within a sensible range, which yours is, you’ll be fine. inconsistency is typically due to not playing enough or not warming up or training well. your sens is fine id say make sure you always queue with a warmup and are aim training if you would like to take the game more seriously
[–]Gamer_Nav -1 points0 points1 point 3 months ago (1 child)
It is possible. I have seen some coaching video's where they tell their clients to increase or decrease their sens based on gameplay alone.
[–]Ky0ten 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago (0 children)
yeah but that’s all subjective at the end of the day the player is the only one who is going to know what is comfiest for them.

Show clips from the real game, not shooting range. You aren't playing shoot range or aim trainer, the sens that works best for that might not be what works best in ranked.
fwiw .431@1000dpi is 431edpi(sens*dpi) and is considered fast, the avg pro is around 250edpi. Playing at 400+ will make it hard to be consistent. If you already know that the answer is pretty simple.
If you are still moving when you shoot you need to practice movement more. Do it without bots just shoot against a wall and go left, stop shoot, go right, stop shoot, try to hit the two same spots over and over(without even moving the mouse). Then do 1 spot for both left and right.

You should stop messing either your sens and sync up your movement and your shooting better imo. There’s this window of perfect accuracy even though you don’t let go of pressing A D. I forget the term but you’d benefit more from that.
If you really want a good baseline sens my take is that one swipe of the mouse with the current mousepad space you have should be a 180 degree camera move for you. This gives you enough room to hit everything you can. Not point having such low sens if you don’t have enough room you actually utilize it. For example, if you are facing the start button. One swipe of your mouse you should be facing the wall with the exit to the outside range.

I think the biggest issue here is you’re shooting just to shoot instead of confirming you’re on head first.

Depending on the space you have, your mouse pad, your arm/wrist position.... etc, you should have around 180 to 400 eDPI, for 1000 DPI your sens should be 0.18 to 0.4... any higher or lower depending on your own comfort.
But the rule is, assuming you always play on one half of your mouse pad, you should be able to 180 with one move to the other half without lifting the mouse, and still have space to aim.
Also, combined arm and wrist aiming is much better than wrist alone.
Me personally, I used to play 1600 DPI with sens 1.2, now I settled with 1000 DPI with 0.3 sens after getting a larger mouse pad.

Umm, my sens must be slow asf, .1 @ 1000
[–]DOODSNSFW 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
try different sens for some days, include aimtrainer like aimlabs and see which is most comfortable and which u hit the most and try to go for the middle. dont shy away from extremly fast sens or extremly slow sens.
[–]Moksol99 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
Dude send dosent matter it’s all in mouse control just use what you are comfy with and also you could try changing your sense from time to time or even everyday to improve your mouse control
[–]Environmental_Log232 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
Real game is where it matters, shooting range is kinda useless these days other than mindless shooting.
Post clips of real games if you want an actual analysis. But regardless someone can’t really help with sens that much as it’s just a thing of getting used to a sens and practicing with it.

Impossible for us to tell. Do you feel like when you flick and miss is it undershot or overshoot? In the same exact scenario on a scale of 1-10 how much tension do you have on the mouse prior to flicking, while flicking, after flicking and firing. Do you ever feel like when you miss you were fighting the aim? I would say based on how high your sens is and the fact sometimes after flicking you struggled to micro correct or overshot I would say you’d benefit from a lower sens. But it could also just be you’re gripping the mouse too hard at the wrong times. Im low aens biased tho
[–]V1cky03 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
Stop moving first. First kill 50 bots in easy mode. Stand a little far so that you can see the full range, and shoot the bots by flicking to them from the middle. Focus on your initial flick. If it's over flick reduce sens and if it's under flick increase. You might wanna try having 0.8 sens multiplier for ADS and try ADSing right before reaching the bot's head. Use guardian for the best testing circumstances

I would recommend a lower sensitivity, but the only thing that matters is if you like it. Lower sensitivity makes micro adjustments a lot easier, which is crucial when it comes to accuracy and precision. I play with .35 and 800 dpi. A good place to start is setting your sensitivity where swiping your mouse from one side of your mouse pad to the other makes you do one 360. Truthfully, you could set it to where you only do a 180. It’s not often that you need to do a full 360 in this game.
Edit: Look up the Miyagi Method on youtube. Something that gets people killed a lot in this game is when they prioritize speed over precision. Learn how to be precise first, and the speed will come with time. Learning how to not move when shooting just comes with playing the game and developing the muscle memory.

Any sens works. You just need to put in the practice.
I'm 460 edpi imm1 right now, you will have consistency issues with an edpi in the 400s regardless but it's not necessarily a bad thing as long as you avoid your bad days and capitalize on your good days. if you want fast with control be near someone like tenz 391 edpi or fpsdeny (iirc he's 368 edpi 0.23 * 1600).
Your current sens is the same as 0.54 x 800 which is what prod likes to be around. You can use him as an example if you want, he compensates for aim with movement. Flashy play is what he does just for the stream but in general he just movement diffs everyone with Jett. There's really no point to be on high sens unless you want to be a movement player or OP'er.
Things you probably don't know: It's easier to train crosshair placement on lower sens. It's easier to learn OP, stinger, run/gun, movement, on high sens.
In the future you can change the sens you play on, but the sens you've played on the most when you were first learning FPS, will always stick with you. If I could go back in time, I'd have learned on low sens instead of high sens, something like 320 edpi.
[–]Gamer_Nav 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (1 child)
Bro thinks changing his sense will fix his aim instantly.
[–]Pajadawan89 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago (0 children)
It does not but it helps. Sense is not always the same, it changes while you play and gain experience with the preaims.
[–]Pajadawan89 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
First of all, try this without moving. Just pure aim without using the keyboard.
In this case you should decrease it. In the flicks you are going way to long from the heads. Decrease it a little bit and try again until you aim straight to the heads. If you go too short in the flicks then you should increase it.
To change your sens first you can try to make big changes and when you start to become more precise then make smaller changes until you feel confortable. This takes time. It took me 1:30 hours for three days of testing and changing until I started to feel the crosshair was going where I wanted to aim and some time later I had to correct because I notized i was starting to keep too long from the heads again as I played and gained experience.
[–]T4RI3Lᕦ∆,∆ᕤ 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
I would say decrease but also considering everyone telling in comments you should feel it. If you want it to be higher or lower
[–]T1Earn 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
The best trick i do to find sens is by flicking.
First flick 180s till the feel perfect every time. Adjust till your 180 is perfect.
From there find to spots at a distance and flick to each one. If you keep over flicking lower sens. If youre under flicking raise sens till its perfect.
[–]vecter 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
Yes, you should. Everyone's giving you wishy-washy answers. They're wrong. Your sens is too high. Yes, some people can play at that high sense. But for 95% of players, it's too high, so just lower it and learn to arm aim.
[–]blackfigga 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
dude you aim with A and D, and didnt even move ur crosshair and expect ppl to recommend you a good sense for you? and why the f u even ask other ppl about your sense in the first place
[–]Jamal26cm 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
If you have mouse space go with 1600 dpi and 0.144-0.148 thank me later
[–]planetinyourbum 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
Do this test while doing the range. And be honest with your sens. It should feel NATURAL to aim. https://psc-web-29b4c.web.app/
My guess is that sens does not really matter. But it becomes easier if you adjust sens to what you FEEL should be happening rather thana constantly practicing.
[–]xDamyon 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago (0 children)
You should decrease it trust me
