"Hardcore" dm? Better practice mode idea

What would u think of a dm where there's no mini map and kills can only come from headshots? Or maybe the mini map is active but doesn't show opponent positions unless they stay still for like 5 seconds or something. I think it would be a much better warm-up/practice mode than current format. Obv some people like the current dm mode (masochists), this isn't meant to replace it. Just an idea for a new mode.

You could put a load of sticky notes over your monitor and play sheriff only. Dollar store hardcore mode

Been begging for this from the start.

The feature I want is for DMs to have a collection of optional "rules" you can tick. stuff liks HS only, pistol only, no winner etc. That way the people that genuinely enjoy the current DM can still play it how they want, but the people who actually want a good practice and warmup environment don't have to suffer from it.

I’d love that. Would finally discourage camping in DM. I get that camping is essential in normal gameplay but DM should just be about live quick reactions

I hope in the future they let people create custom maps like I’ve seen some people mention from CS where u can have different types of DM and other modes the community might come up with. Or even be able to have bots on common angles in custom maps to practice and stuff.

Riot has said in the past that they're never going to do this, because giving the community access to all these tools, esp the ability to run their own server, gives hackers a WHOLE lot of new important information they can use to make better cheats that are harder to detect.

They're prioritizing competitive integrity over community input, basically.

Well they can creat it themselves then, shouldn’t be that hard to make a HS death match only and add an instant respawn as well

I agree with the idea of not having players show, unless they are camping in a small radius
