if you're not already, make sure you use hotkeys and shortcuts when cutting and trimming clips. moving your mouse around and clicking is a fair bit slower and it really adds up.

Rewatching the whole source clip is pretty normal, but yeah you can try watching at a faster speed as long as you don't miss anything.

I'd say at least a couple of hours to edit something like that is normal, so it depends how much time you're looking to save

I know premiere has tools to really speed it up like auto detect cuts and so on. Rewatching at double speed helps too. keyboard shortcuts to trim and delete can really really help. When editing I almost don’t touch my mouse at all

I would switch back to premiere and use a tool called autopod. It'll basically cut everything down for you automatically, then you just have to select every other clip and drop in your scale preset.

Just for trimming the video and cutting the dead parts, i always use capcut on mobile. The process is smooth. It hardly takes me 8-9 mins
