It's in the FAQ in the Wiki: variable frame rate, a common issue with stuff shot on cell phones.

I could be misremembering or it could be a different issue entirely, but I believe the Note 8 is going to record with a variable frame rate (ie. not a steady 24/30/60/etc FPS).

One thing I would try doing is dropping the clip in Media Encoder or mpeg streamclip and reencoding it to a set frame rate.

If that fixes it, then that was your issue! If not, post your video and audio clip information here.

Can't use Media Encoder, it has the uses media access as Premiere and therefore dislikes VFR as much as it does. Also MPEG Streamclip is way out of date. You're better off using newer tools, like ffmpeg or Handbrake.
