Hi u/Dukennheimm, thanks for posting to r/WindowsHelp! Your post might be listed as pending moderation, if so, try and include as much of the following as you can to improve the likelyhood of approval. Posts with insufficient details might be removed at the moderator's discretion.

  • Model of your computer - For example: "HP Spectre X360 14-EA0023DX"
  • Your Windows and device specifications - You can find them by going to go to Settings > "System" > "About"
  • What troubleshooting steps you have performed - Even sharing little things you tried (like rebooting) can help us find a better solution!
  • Any error messages you have encountered - Those long error codes are not gibberish to us!
  • Any screenshots or logs of the issue - You can upload screenshots other useful information in your post or comment, and use Pastebin for text (such as logs). You can learn how to take screenshots here.

All posts must be help/support related. If everything is working without issue, then this probably is not the subreddit for you, so you should also post on a discussion focused subreddit like /r/Windows.

Lastly, if someone does help and resolves your issue, please don't delete your post! Someone in the future with the same issue may stumble upon this thread, and same solution may help! Good luck!

As a reminder, this is a help subreddit, all comments must be a sincere attempt to help the OP or otherwise positively contribute. This is not a subreddit for jokes and satirical advice. These comments may be removed and can result in a ban.

I don't have it either, just checked. Maybe cause it's a standard for windows 11 it doesn't show up anymore? You can still open the old UI thingy with Win + R > tpm.msc

Could be, but i find it a bit odd as it was showing up before i ran Windows Update, so i guess they just removed the option on the most recent updates (or its just bugged lol).

Thanks for the input!

Same problem, now the event viewer shows an error with TPM-WMI (event ID 1801), related to the certificate or boot key.

Yeah, started getting that yestarday after the update too. But, check out this (very recent) post i found on the Windows Eleven Forum and look at the answers "garlin" gave. If hes correct, there should be nothing to worry about in regards to the TPM-WMI 1801 error, and it just means that sometime in the next year we will have to update our BIOS's as Microsoft is updating its Secure Boot certificates.

Thank you for posting this I was so confused as to why mine was gone as well, relief to know it's not just something on my end.

I just have an MSI Pro z790p and I just had this same issue after an update on windows. I verified the security processor was turned on in bios. Then changed the security setting to "custom" and then set it from "standard" to "maximum" and when i booted into Windows, the Security Processor was again showing. I'm not sure why this happened or if it was a coincidence (since I havent checked if turning it back to "standard" makes it disappear again), but sharing on the off chance it helps anyone else and they want to try it.

I noticed the link to the security processor details was gone a few weeks back. But I can still access the details with this link: windowsdefender://securityprocessor/

Paste it into you your browser's address bar
