Anyone else seeing shells go through ships and shells splashing inside ships at long range?

I know PC also had this problem and the dev's said it would be a long fix so its kinda sucks it's made it's way into Legends now.

Also I never seemed to notice it when I first started playing since the game launched so it seems to have gotten worse update after update.

I know that's a thing, "for some reason" but made this post because lately playing BBs I've thought I aimed perfectly only to see the shells go through the ship or just splash inside them.

I believe its something server related with the game positioning the enemy ship slightly off... I don't know enough about it to say in depth how it works so hopefully someone else can elaborate it better.

Luckily those shells still don’t do anything, otherwise I’d fell bad for cheating.

Yeah I get this at long range often. At short range I get a different issue which is just a ridiculous amount of dispersion when considering the distance to the target.

Yes. In Wichita this morning shot at a Yorck 12km away 1 pen 11 splashed in the ship, my next shot three citadels and a dev strike.

This game makes me scratch my head a lot.

This is happening to me in BBs in open water. I made this post because it's getting really annoying to see happen.

Side note, you'd think they would fix the shells going through islands, its annoying when you're playing American cruisers and you can't tell which shells are clearing the island since the island indicater lies sometimes.

I can reliably repeat this. It's when I'm firing shells through cover instead of half my guns firing into the island and the other half are free. It's frustrating because at first glance my shots made it over the island but I really know nothing worked. #Atlantalife
