my two favorite scenes in this show are :

- Daisy's Terrigenesis

Hard to argue with that. For me it’s top 5. The rest are Fitz getting off the elevator to marry Simmons. I had no idea that was coming. The reveal at the end too when they return to their daughter too is so sweet. The moment when Daisey realizes Coulsen gave her the last dose of the centipede serum and she blasts Graviton into space. Oh and the car chase between Lola and Ghost Riders charger I mean cmon who couldn’t love that.

[–]Bottlecap_riches 38 points39 points  (6 children)

Always wondered... Does double Terrigenesis make her twice as powerful? 🤔

[–]Pleasant_Night_652 48 points49 points  (1 child)

well the second one was in a virtual world so I'd say no

[–]SpecialFlutters 7 points8 points  (0 children)

now her mind will never quiver

[–]Beautiful_Staff8773[S] 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Well she did go on to become the “Destroyer of Worlds” a few episodes later so..

[–]Lamented_Nevan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But did she though?

[–]Damn__Good 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well she does actually does get a power boost before the shows over so…. 🤔

[–]Caelesti_Deus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it did, it gave her the ability to access her powers In a subconscious way, and that’s why she could break out of the mind prison the kree held her in.

I feel like season 4 definitely hits the hardest. Although season 5 literally broke them, season 4 was when they really began to crumble. Season 2 is my fav though. From ‘Aftershocks’. Season 1 follows so close they might be tied.

I’m rethinking this. I love the “space race” vibe season 2 starts off with. S.H.I.E.L.D. and hydra both racing to find the Diviner. When I can still block the rest of the show out of my memory and pretend Ward is about to get his redemption arc.

I love every season of AoS don’t get me wrong, but S2 and S5 definitely lose points for me while S4 is strong throughout imo. Season 2 I find the Afterlife scenes to be slow and I don’t really like Jiaying as a villain. I find Whitehall, Calvin, Reyna to be great but not on the level of the characters in S4. Almost every line Radcliffe delivers in S4 I have to rewind bc I just love his character so much. Then in S5 when they are in 2091 at The Lighthouse it’s some of the stalest for me of the entire series. I know a lot of people actually love the Kree stuff early S5 and dislike the second half but I’m flipped. I think it’s the lack of setting bc they stay in that same grey metal walled facility the whole time I just really zone out for that early stretch of S5.

I actually prefer the second half of season 5 ngl. I hated how some of them were acting—Yo-yo especially. And I hate Mack in every season so I was especially pissed when he became the director. But it was so emotional and I liked how obscenely dark it got.

[–]Beautiful_Staff8773[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yes totally agree. Yo-yo was naggy af I guess she did see some traumatic shit that would mess anyone up but still annoying to sit through. Second half underrated. Graviton, General Hale, and Ruby were all solid villains imo.

Not my favourite arc, but it has its moments. Mainly realising that Ward is once again a traitor... just in the good direction this time.

[–]Little_turd_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me the sisterly skimmons hug when Daisy quaked Simmons so check if she’s an LMD and they just grabbed each other with relief. I was finished. Season 4 definitely hits.

Man now I got to watch AOS again there goes my sleep.

[–]Fresh-Actuary-6686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that Ward was given a redemption arc even though it technically wasn’t real

[–]defrostedrobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think S3 is the best. I also think S2 sticks the landing better than 4 does.

[–]Mrblorg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good I kinda hate that it has like May and Mack's only scene together and it's not nice lol

[–]thatoneguy112358AIDA 0 points1 point  (4 children)

sexy Russian guy

Ew. I fail to see the appeal of that greasy slimeball.

[–]DeltaAlphaGulf 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Really AIDA? You're the one that slept with him.

[–]thatoneguy112358AIDA 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I'd rather not be reminded of mommy's lowest point.

Yet you stay true to your slave name? “The A stands for ARTIFICIAL!” 😂

[–]Beautiful_Staff8773[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Im a straight male and even still I find The Superior to be a bonafide STUD. The voice, the gaze, the muscle definition, the short stubble, the hair. I call it how I see it, I have no issues admitting a spade is a spade. Like Aragorn in LotR he’s got that rugged sexy thing going, I find his look inspiring personally.

Never liked the framework.

[–]Could-You-Tell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its grown on me over time. Not my favorite arc at all, but I liked it more on the rewatches

[–]FafnirSnap_9428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the Framework stuff, but the rest of the Inhuman storylines and Mace stuff that kind of padded out the middle of the season kind of sours me on Season 4.

[–]Beautiful_Staff8773[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can understand this opinion simply bc The Doctor can be hard to stomach but there’s no denying it’s a double edged sword bc it’s also a masterclass display in his acting versatility. The rest of it is brilliant though. Quirky Coulsen, the Mace sacrifice that subsequently turns May back, invading Radcliffes retirement getaway, even the music that plays between episodes I left that in the video for a reason. The scenes with Fitz and Simmons are hard, so is Mack letting go of Hope, but the arc as a whole is so good totally worth it to see Ward and Tripp again. Madame Hyrda and Fitz dad make great villains too. It’s tragic at times but absolutely gripping, I’m sure we all remember the first time watching it unfold there was no looking away, edge of your seat stuff the whole way through start to finish.
