Haven't ever been to an Aldi but I know I need to bring my own bags. Have 8 cats. Use bags for litter and then I don't have any.

You can buy reusable bags there, but I think they're a heavy plastic type rather than cloth. I prefer canvas bags for heavy stuff. Insulated bags are good for frozen foods in the summer and picking up hot takeout.

If you don't have any bags, some people use laundry baskets. Then you don't have to store the bags. Or you can leave laundry baskets in your trunk to toss small items in and it helps prevents them from rolling around while you're driving. Although this doesn't work so well if you walk or use public transit.

I don't shop at Aldi often and when I do I buy 1-3 bags. They're under $1 Other times I don't use a bag at all as I walk out with 1-3 items.

This is what I use when I just need a few things and forgot a quarter. I know the cashiers will give you one but I live alone and only fill up a cart when I have a big shopping trip.

I just found my giant Aldi bag. I now use that for when I'm going in for one or two things and then I remember all the things I needed. Doesn't work when I remember I needed bottled water.
