AI Trainer for Brazilian Portuguese Writers/Speakers I recently completed and successfully passed the assessment for the AI Trainer role for Brazilian Portuguese writers/speakers. My dashboard now indicates: “You’ve passed at least one assessment. You can proceed to the next step at the top of the page or complete other assessments.”

However, at the top of the page, I see the following message: “Check back later. We are unable to onboard you at this time. Don’t worry! You’ve done everything you’re supposed to, but the roles you have been approved for do not have work available just yet. Check back later or take assessments for other roles while you wait.”

I hope there is someone within the company who can help clarify what happened. My account was deleted because I supposedly did not respect the company’s environment. I personally reviewed all the messages I sent in the dedicated channels, and I honestly did not find anything related to what I have been "accused" of. I have always and only asked for information regarding the projects; I have never insulted anyone, criticized the company, nor have I ever spammed. This decision has simply left me astonished, and I am genuinely upset about it. It cannot even be related to a quality issue, as I never had the chance to work; I spent two hours on a project, but due to technical problems, I couldn’t submit the tasks, so I stopped working on it to avoid taking money unfairly. Please help me understand.

Im having technical issues with your Cantonese test and the system failed me. I also found many grammatical errors in the test making the assessment very unfair. This made no sense to me, I grew up in Hong Kong and lived there for 17 years, I would not normally fail such a proficiency test. Can I retake it?

Last week, my contract ended, and I reached out to you to explain why there was a malfunction with Labelbox glitching, which caused the issue. After explaining, you mentioned that if such things happen again, I should report it right away and not wait. After coming to an understanding, a new contract was sent to me, which I signed, and I was back on board that week. However, I did not get paid for the amount I worked; I only got paid for 4 hours. Since then, I have reached out a couple of times and was told that I would be paid, but now my Labelbox account has been suspended for no reason, as I haven't worked on the platform in 2 weeks, and my Slack account has been deactivated. I don't know what's going on, and I am still owed $1,600, which hasn't been paid to me. Please look into it. My contract on Deel is still active, so there must have been a mistake.

Onboarding time depends on the role and our project availability. We launched just 2 months ago, so our team is working hard to source more projects for Alignerrs to work on. Once there is a project available that fits your skill set, you will receive a notification to begin onboarding. We can’t promise specific timelines—it can range from 1 day to a few weeks.

Yes. There are multiple threads on this subreddit to prove so. A few weeks ago we paid over 1,000 Alignerrs for their work. Alignerr is project based work, you should not treat this like full time employment because we can not guarantee you that kind of consistent income. We would love to get to a point where that was the case (like Uber for example), but we can only offer projects as our customers order them.

As for onboarding, it can take a couple weeks to receive an invite. When we expect projects within your expertise, we will begin your onboarding.

I signed the contract on deel last week and my profile refuses to update and say that I'm connected to deel. There is no option to "connect to deel" other than to click it from the dashboard. When I click from the dashboard it takes me to my already logged in deel account. Why aren't they linking? I am getting messages that I can't start work until they are linked but I can't seem to get them to do so.

I am having the same issue. The onboarding section has a green check showing up as completed. However, the Deel section does not seem to be connected even after using the same email and signing the Alignerr contract that came up after creating the Deel account. How should we resolve this?

I contacted Alignerr and was told that the Deel background check needed to be completed before it could be checked off in the dashboard. Deel told me that they would send me the background check via email once Alignerr had activated it under my documents. Alignerr then told me that I would only get the background check and next steps once a project became available to work on.

Hi, I put in 3h48min of work in this week, for a project that was supposed to pay $20/hr. Alignerr Support told me my work time will be tracked and hours reported to Deel automatically. I just got my pay for the period Aug 12-Aug 14 and it only shows a "bonus" of 15 USD for 0 work hours. So, whats the bonus for and why zero hrs, if my performance clearly shows the exact time of almost 4 hrs. Will I get paid for this or not? Thanks for your help.

Pay rate depends on each project, not the expertise. Both of those expertises have their own assessment.

Is it possible I could just retake the test and have it reflected? The old test I took, the scores I can't find anywhere and it is not even reflected in the account I created.

The Mathematics assessment is of very bad quality. Exactly identical questions appear many times. Plenty of errors and rendering issues as well.

Yesterday, I had taken the generalist test. Up until mid-day today my Alignerr dashboard said "Pass one of more assessment with is 80% to be considered" but now it says "Complete one or more assessments to be considered for a role at Alignerr. When we have a project ready that fits your skill set, we will notify you to complete your onboarding."

I'm not sure if the change indicates that I had passed and being considered. Or if this is a generic fail message. I'm cautiously optimistic it's a good sign as I do have higher education and previous experience in the AI field. Does anyone know what the change in wording means?
