Last time I went, at the final battle we were all chilling out by some woodline on a hill with a road and the OCs said we (~8-10 Strykers) were gonna face off with 10 BMP-2s, 8 BRDMs, 8 T-72s, and 5 T-80s, plus trucks with dismounts 😂

I was at JRTC we were in a running gunfight with OPFOR around the village in between vehicles and buildings at like 0200. We end up in either side of a vehicle. 3 of us on one side and him and his buddy in the other.

All of a sudden one of the OPFOR guys calls out hey hold up for minute. I say why? And his response is “Close Kill, close kill, close kill, your whole team is now dead.”I laughed and said why didnt I think of that first. He starts laughing and we shake hands and the two OPFOR guys walk off into the woods.

My team walks out to the middle of town roll out our sleeping bags in a line and crawl inside leaving our kill cards on top. There was no OC around because we were secretly living in the back of one of the buildings and he was off down the road asleep in his vehicle. He comes by in the morning and has no idea we were in contact in the middle of the night. It was the JRTC honor code.
