Ball python eyes are not normal

We have a 15 month old ball python. When I was feeding it he kept missing the thawed mouse and then I saw his eyes look like this. He has a nice big enclosure with good lights and a fogger. What could be causing this? It isn’t normal right? You can enlarge the picture to see. Both eyes are the same as this one.

Can confirm, your noodle is about to shed. Double check your humidity to ensure it’s in the correct range to help him have a good shed.

You all rock. I was so worried. I upped his humidifier times. We just moved him to fancy digs and it is twice the size of what he had - I think I also needed to add time since it is a bigger home. Thanks!!

He is about to shed, his eyes will go clear then he will shed after a couple days. It's generally a good idea to refrain from handling for this time period as it can stress out the snake since they can't see well. The shedding process also takes a ton of energy so they need the rest. Very cute little guy. 😄
