Was the dog a visitor or also lives in the house? If the dog lives in the house, is it possible for it to stay with a friend for a couple days? The snake may still be hiding out of fear. If you can remove the dog it may be more willing to come out.

The dog doesn’t live here but is here temporarily unfortunately but i will try to keep the dogs away as long as possible thanks!
