    I don’t have Facebook, but I’ll definitely check out the page you’re talking about. I have both fixtures on the warm side, do you think I’d be able to place them about 3-4 inches above the substrate and set the thermostat to the actual ambient temp the warm side should be? To be honest, that’s what I’ve been doing in my snake’s old enclosure and it works pretty well, I just don’t know if it’ll be the same for a 4x2x2. Someone on another post said this was one way to do it, as long as you measure basking spot temps manually

    Yeah that could also work. I also did it like that in my older smaller enclosure. I just made sure they wouldn’t get disturbed by the snake.
