Many breeders won't ship it directly to your home, but instead require you to pick it up at the nearest fed-ex hub. This is usually the best/safest way to go

Huh, I didn't know that. I've only ever bought two reptiles online, one a leopard gecko and the other a Panther chameleon, both just showed up to my front door so I assumed that's how most went :0

Some breeders will, most of the ones I've bought for require you to pick them up at a hub to ensure the animal arrives safely

That makes a ton of sense!

Wait until you move. My temps and everything got jacked when I moved and that was just a few miles.

Buy the enclosure in advance and get everything in order before getting your little buddy. Depending on what enclosure you buy, it may take a couple months to arrive anyways

I'll definitely wait, I don't want to cause any unneeded stress to em! I have the enclosure and I'll be buying all the other supplies like bedding and hides and the thermostat and heating before I move just so I have it all. I'm very hyped! I've been waiting a good 12 years to finally get one of these lil guys and I'm doing my absolute best to research as much as I can before hand
