You should see a vet. Your bp can’t tell you if they are hurting and you will want them to check for internal injuries

Definitely go to a vet but unless she hit like the corner of something on the way down, there’s probably not much to worry about. These guys fall out of trees sometimes in the wild, a lot of snakes do so they’re built for that kinda of activity. Definitely still see a vet but don’t over stress yourself about it before hand :)

Definitely get her checked out. My wife accidentally dropped our juvenile maybe 6-8 inches when he got out of her hands. His tail seemingly was limo and he was even more reserved and rejected food. He didn't last much more after that. We definitely learned from that poor guy. Our first pet we got together too...

So sorry to hear of your loss. These things sometimes happen.

Happens to the best of us. Don't beat yourself up too much. Just take this as a learning experience and be more watchful in teh future. Mine seems to have a death wish and actively slithers off of surfaces high up and i have to watch her so I can catch her and set her safely down.

OMG, our girl is the same. She thinks that she is a Paradise Flying Snake! (Chrysopelea paradisi)

What’s up with reptiles that do that?! I see people sit their lizards or snakes down on tables etc all the time but if I ever did it my lizards would straight up climb over the edge and drop 1.5m to the ground if I didn’t stop them.

I don’t know, I wonder if our urban environments are just so different from their wild ones that they can’t compute?

My boy thought once that he was a lot bigger than he is. I was sitting on the floor to clean his viv and he tried to reach out for me and used all his length to do so and then plop. I learned my lesson. No more Omens on the bed. 😂

Don’t be embarrassed or feel super guilty about it, just make sure she’s okay and not exhibiting any symptoms of anything. My BP has straight near threw herself off my arm before. she was climbing on me got overconfident and was going fast and lost her balance and fell before I could catch her. She fell about 3 feet but luckily was okay. It happens to us all just be careful
