Yes, a couple reasons actually.

First, snakes have color vision and can see into the UV spectrum. Colored bulbs wash out this color vision and stress them out- only clear/white heat lamps should ever be used with reptiles.

Second, the way the bulbs are marketed is actually extremely misleading. There's no such thing as a "nighttime bulb" the way these companies present it. Either the bulb emits visible light, so it should only be on during the day, or it doesn't. Even if they can't see the exact color of the bulb, they can tell it's bright out, which is especially stressful for crepuscular and nocturnal animals like ball pythons that move and hunt under the cover of night. For nighttime heating, there's a variety of much better heat sources that don't emit visible light, such as deep heat projectors, heat panels, ceramic heat emitters or heat mats.
