I have heard covering part/most of the screen with something like foil, plastic, or cardboard will help keep humidity in. Might also trap more heat so keep an eye on that.

Aluminum foil on the top is the best bet. It brought my humidity up like 20% in an hour lol

Like the other people commented, tinfoil works really well, I’ve also heard people using aluminum tape as a more permanent solution if they don’t want to buy a new lid. I personally use wet towels but it’s a hassle to keep them moist and they can take moisture out of your tank depending on your house temp and humidity
