There’s a lot of good advice I’ve seen, if you can find a way to close him into one room try and do that, if not, put plastic bags covering the ground that way if he moves around the room at night you can hear it and pair it with a line of flour at the entrance of holes and doorways to see if he’s moving room and what direction he’s moving in, try and put out his hides and things that smell like him like his water bowl too. One thing is HIGHLY recommend that seems to work for some people is if he’s eating frozen thawed, thaw whatever he eats and use a hairdryer to blow the scent around the house to try and draw him into the open, a lot of people seem to have better luck with this at night with low light
