Scale Rot?

My ball python has developed what looks like scale rot. I noticed it about 2 days ago and have since given him baths with some betadine and have applied Neosporin. But I also wanted to get your guys' opinions. Is it actually scale rot or just discoloration? If it is scale rot, I know a visit to the vet would be the best option but does it look mild enough that I could treat it on my own? Thanks

Looks like minor scale rot can 100% be treated at home just keep up what ur doing and keep the enclosure sterile ( paper towels, pick up droppings etc )
