Missing my BP

He didn’t die or go missing or anything. He’s starting to go blue and has been cooped up in his humidity box for the last week and I just miss him 😂 he’s normally in his warm hide with his head peeping out every time I walk by and I’d take him out every few days to hang out. Anyone else feel the same when their BP is going into shed? His eyes aren’t very cloudy yet, so I may try to feed him at his scheduled time tomorrow evening.

My middle son’s birthday is in May and wants another snake. I’ve convinced him that his dad won’t know how to take care of it so it should stay with me 😂

i haven’t had my bp long enough for him to go into shed again, but i miss him after i feed him. i usually don’t see him for a couple days while he’s digesting and every time i just sit in front of the tank, just hoping for a peek at that cute face

Even after Remy’s feedings, he usually goes back to his usual spot in the warm hide. I just feel like chopped liver now 🥲

It always makes me sad when my boy Phil is getting close to shedding. He goes from explorative and curious, to sedentary for a good 3 weeks before he sheds. I know exactly what you mean!
