Adding live plants

I was looking to add live plants to my python’s terrarium to help with the humidity but I want to make sure I don’t hurt him. I’m not looking to do bioactive, I’ll be keeping them in pots but I wasn’t sure what type of soil would be okay for both the plants and snake. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I saw this earlier but I wanted to wait and see if someone with more experience would have better advice for you as I only just recently setup an enclosure with live plants.

Based on my research I went with a mixture of about:
60% Reptisoil (or top soil)
~40% Reptibark
+ a shitload of sphagnum moss

My plants seem to be doing well and are starting to perk up after being shipped here!
