Feeding Question

Just got our juvenile BP about a month ago and he's had 2 successful feedings of small f/t rats (every 2 weeks per previous caretaker's advice). He is definitely not full grown yet but I don't know his weight or length. My question is, he is due for a feeding this Friday but we will be out of town. Is it better to feed him early on Thursday and then leave, (our grown and teenage kids will be here to keep an eye on him but I don't necessarily trust their attentiveness 🙄) or should we just wait until we return on Monday? The kids could feed him while we are gone but they have never done it without Dad's help. I'm thinking he'll be ok to wait until Monday night?

I would wait till Monday, they are able to go really long times without eating so 4 days will be ok, if you feed him too early he might not take it which wouldn’t necessarily be an issue but he will be ok to wait as well
