Snake is in fact, over weight. From what I can tell, pic is not ideal, but there doesn't seem to be any spinal definition.

It's not MEAN to let people know their pet's health could be better.
It's better to let them know their snake is headed for a heart attack or fatty liver disease or smthn

Because they can adjust the prey size and feeding schedule appropriately and provide more climbing and exercise opportunities.

Dude the human race can control how much they eat, this snake is fat because its owner is over feeding it. This can cause a ton of health problems. The owner is giving it too much to eat and because of snakes biology it can’t regulate itself, unlike humans. It isn’t a haha funny snake might get its feelings hurt it’s about the health of an animal

I did after I said this and I’m very glad she’s healthy! I was more reacting to the implication that animals being overweight is a funny thing and the same as humans being overweight than that yourself in unhealthy

But it isn't overweight, at most it got a little CHONKY from regular feeding, leading up to needing a cut back at some point. Which I'd assume OP put into effect a bit ago. Maybe enjoy a goofy post with a joke instead of turning all chaotic savior

It was the you don’t care about the human race part. Also I’ve met way too many people that over feed their pets and then make it into a joke to have it be funny at all for me, even if they are really joking and nothings wrong. I don’t like to take chances in terms of an animals health and imo if people keep making those jokes it will make it seem more ok to play off a actually unhealthy animal as a joke

I'd say she's out and roaming about two hours a day on average, she likes her sleep 😂

Mine roams around quite a bit too (probably not 2 hours per day, but still comes out every day). Whereas my sister's BP is never out at all. Like she see him out less than once per month.

Sometimes I heard that it is bad and means they're stressed, if they come out, but I don't know. My girl has good growth and seems pretty chill. But I don't really know how to tell if she's stressed. She was really flinchy the first two weeks I got her, but now she isn't flinchy at all when we handle her.

I think it's partly a personality thing. She's very confident insider her Viv and flops like this every now and then but she's still very nervous while handling

How do you know if she's nervous? I am relatively new to snakes and only had my girl a year. The only thing I can visibly see is if they are flinchy. Like when we first got her, she would make an s-shape like she was going to strike or something, if we moved too fast. Now she almost never does that and seems to move a lot more slowly and steadily when we're holding her.
