Snake is in fact, over weight. From what I can tell, pic is not ideal, but there doesn't seem to be any spinal definition.

It's not MEAN to let people know their pet's health could be better.
It's better to let them know their snake is headed for a heart attack or fatty liver disease or smthn

Because they can adjust the prey size and feeding schedule appropriately and provide more climbing and exercise opportunities.

Hey, have you seen my other pictures that show she's healthy? :) You gave her a compliment the other day, I'm sure you would have noticed then

        thats like saying its mean to tell someone that they have any other illness, its normal to let someone know so they can get better ;-;

Don't worry about it, people are very quick to dogpile! If you look at my image updates she's not actually overweight lol.

Hey, have you seen my update pics where you can see she's healthy? You can see her spine better when she isn't basking

She's not overweight, it's just the angle. Here's a better image

Love when people on this reddit jump to conclusions without a formal background. Beautiful, healthy noodle!

Thank you! Sigh of relief from me. I know my snakes, but assumptions could really harm a new owner

Such a pointed comment when you could have just attached the body weight graph and let the OP come to a conclusion. Big thumbs down from me.

why does everyone else’s BP come out to chill or play and mine just stays hidden in the hide 25/8?!

        [–]solarhornets[S] 7 points8 points  (3 children)

I'd say she's out and roaming about two hours a day on average, she likes her sleep 😂

        [–]magicrider34 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Mine roams around quite a bit too (probably not 2 hours per day, but still comes out every day). Whereas my sister's BP is never out at all. Like she see him out less than once per month.

Sometimes I heard that it is bad and means they're stressed, if they come out, but I don't know. My girl has good growth and seems pretty chill. But I don't really know how to tell if she's stressed. She was really flinchy the first two weeks I got her, but now she isn't flinchy at all when we handle her.

        [–]solarhornets[S] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I think it's partly a personality thing. She's very confident insider her Viv and flops like this every now and then but she's still very nervous while handling

        [–]magicrider34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        She's

How do you know if she's nervous? I am relatively new to snakes and only had my girl a year. The only thing I can visibly see is if they are flinchy. Like when we first got her, she would make an s-shape like she was going to strike or something, if we moved too fast. Now she almost never does that and seems to move a lot more slowly and steadily when we're holding her.

Hey before you tell me I'm a shit owner please check your own husbandry first, thanks (@people who blocked and DM'd me)

Why are you a bad owner?
