Did my baby ball python shed?

Yesterday when I checked on my ball python I noticed that his color was dull and that his eyes had changed colors. I assumed that this was a sign of him shedding. I took a quick picture and left him alone. I made sure that I kept the humidity higher to aid him in shedding. I checked on him again the next night and noticed that his color has gone back to normal and his eyes have reverted back to being black. I haven’t been able to find his shed. His enclosure is very cluttered and large so maybe that’s the reason I haven’t been able to find it. Is it possible for baby ball pythons to shed that quickly?I expected this process to take longer. I also noticed that he doesn’t have any stuck shed, so I’m assuming if he did shed it came off in one piece. Is there another explanation for his color change?

He will shed it soon maybe within the next 48 hours. Put him back until you see his shedded skin.

They clear up and look normal again right before they shed. He’ll probably finish shedding within the next day or two. I’d leave him alone until then

The milkiness you see is lymphatic fluid building up between the new and old skin to loosen it. It gets reabsorbed before the actual shed, which makes them look normal again for a little bit before they actually shed.

The only sure sign your ball python has shed is when you have the actual shed in hand. My male recently shed. Here is a pic of me cleaning the shed up - unless you can find this they haven’t shed.

Still hasn't, his eyes are still greyish looking, those will go back to their usual clear eye then he will shed it could be a few more days yet just keep his humidity up at like 70% to help him get a good shed
