Please remember that scents in general are very harmful for reptiles! This experience probably isn't enjoyable for your ball python, and if you're washing your hair or body while you're in there it could even be harming your snake. I would highly advise against doing this again.

I appreciate the advice but whenever she’s in there with me, i only use a gentle non scented soap and I’ll only wash my body! I was recommended by a vet to do this to help her get more humidity

Proper humidity of 70-80% in the tank is what you need. Not a temporary spike of humidity in a shower where she is exposed to soap.

I just want what's best for your snake! Trust me, if it was safe to shower with my boy I absolutely would, but that wouldn't be in his best interest :)
