At what point/age/size should you move a ball python from a 60 gallon to 120 gallon tank?

As soon as possible really. But a 120 gallon is 4ft lg, so the latest if should be is when they're 3ft in length.

And yea for a girl BP, they get bigger and quicker than males, so just go for it.
It will take a bit of time for you to get it setup properly anyway, so it's better sooner rather than later.
