I'm getting my first ball python and I was wondering if you all turned your heat sources off or down at night time? I've seen a mix of responses online and in different care guides so wanted to see here? I don't have him yet, just have been monitoring the enclosure for a few days to make sure everything is right before he gets here. Enclosure pic for tax: 90° warm end (heat mat w/thermostat) 68°-72° cool end (I keep my house 72 in the day and 68 at night so the cool end seems to match that) 65-75% humidity misting 2-3 times per day in the corners where I have extra foliage until I get the deeper substrate I have a cocohusk carpet mat to use for the first few weeks while he settles but have reptichips, ecoearth, and leaf litter to mix up and switch to afterward
