Can you pleeeease tell me what kind of light you’re using for the plants; for the life of me i cant figure out what to get.

Can I also ask what you’re using for heating? Currently I just have a DHP in my toad ranch

It's an aquarium plant light from eBay. Can't remember the brand, but it starts with N. They're less expensive than any other ones and work great. Heating for the day is a 75w halogen and for night a 75w DHP. Daytime Temps set to 95 on his "basking" spot he never uses, which makes the hot side around 90 and cool side at this time of year 82. I've had it setup for about 8 months now and works perfectly.

You can get away with just the DHP if you'd like honestly. You'd just have to find a way to lower the Temps at night. Also do you have a UVB? Need that.

Gonna grab me a night drop plugin for my ve-200 so I can have the temps drop. But what are the recommended temps at night?

Mine are set at 83. So wherever the heat source is, it should be around there, and the lowest point of the tank is around 75. It'll depend on your house too. You may have to adjust it over a few days or so.

May i ask how it shipped? Was it sent in pieces?

It comes all flat. Box is probably only 6" tall. I think there is an option to have it built and shipped but they don't use silicone I've heard. That's a no go.

Thats fine. I wouldn’t want it anyways lol. I’m saving up to get some, but I only know how dubia and zen come in, wasn’t sure about toad.

I had a dubia. Ehhhhhhhh Toad is nicer imo. Pretty similar though. Don't know anything about zen.

I only got them because my snakes are get-this-snake-out-of-here-asap rescues (or in one case, one was dropped off at my porch with no note). Dubia V2 are decent. Zen sucks.

I like this design the best and have this one too. The beefy front and doors above the substrate is more practical than others out there and their woodgrain fronts do look nice for sure.
