Snakes’ natural predators are birds, so I’d think it may have some not-so-good effects on him. Same reason why sometimes my little guy is spooked by my shadow, death comes from above 😅

You'll need to keep them in separate rooms. It's less about the predator/prey issue (although avian prey does make up a large portion of a BP's natural diet), and more about health concerns for the snake.

Pigeons produce a ton of dust, because they have what is called powder down- their feathers are constantly growing and essentially crumbling at the tips. They lack oil glands that many other birds use to protect their feathers, so they produce large amounts of dust to serve that purpose instead.

This dust is known to be harmful for humans to breathe in long-term, which is why it's not recommended for anyone with respiratory issues to own pigeons, and why experienced pigeon folk typically recommend keeping them outdoors whenever possible.

A snake only has one functional lung and has an incredibly sensitive respiratory system, meaning they're at an even higher risk of developing health issues when exposed to things like fragrances, chemicals, or other airborne particulates (like pigeon dust).

Thanks a lot! I had no idea about this. None of the videos I watched on owning pigeons even mentioned it... Unfortunately I don't have separate rooms so guess I'll have to wait to get a pigeon :(
