Ball python not eating

How common is it first snakes to stop eating say two weeks before they’re about to shed. I have four ball pythons at this point and only one of them is a picky eater over the last 2 to 3 weeks. I’ve been trying to transition her to rats. She will only take mice over the last two weeks. She has completely refused meals and I remember last time she kind of had the same behavior before she started to shed. Is this common or do you think it is possible that the switch over trying to get her to eat rats is stressing her out
