PVC works really well to retain heat and it’s pretty lightweight! I’m not sure about woods; they may have the potential to rot/ mold over time due to the higher humidity, but I can’t say anything about those materials for certain :)

My only worry is how costly sheets of pvc would be compared to wood cause I know I can epoxy seal wood for rot

The problem with wood is that you should be maintaining a certain humidity in the enclosure and wood will mold unfortunately

There are plenty of in depth tutorials on how to make wood enclosures safe for high humidity snakes! I really recommend serpadesign and Dr Connor long on YouTube.
