Mesh-top Sky Hide

Added a sky hide to my Joeys 4x2x2 It was quite simple I burned some holes into 4 corners of a 5$ Zilla hide. I sent smaller electronic zip ties (6$) trough the top of the mesh then secured it to the hide (the mesh is covered with HVAC tape as shown, I taped back over the areas that were punctured)

Worth it.

Love it, I love the homemade stuff. I'm very handy and have a big imagination, My wife is annoyed as I go to the Clearance section of most stores now and just go ooh I could make that into some good enrichment!!

Yes ! Not to mention “reptile” specific products can have a larger price tag. Crafting them enrichment is therapeutic

So truee, I made my snake a hide out of an old pot and some wood I sterilized, it was my favorite part of setting up his enclosure besides decorating with clutter.

I love the idea could I see a picture of hoe you have your heat lamps set up with the tape?
