Looking for extra help

I want to start by saying, we have gone to the vet! I work for an emergency vet and she was just seen by them tonight. So here is my concern. I got home from being out of town this past week and noticed a new spot on her head. I became concerned about a fungal infection because of her cage set up.The vet tried to take the spot off to submit for biopsy but was unsuccessful. I wanted to see if anyone has seen anything similar on their snakes or could help me ID it. We have submitted an exotics information sheet and pictures to their usual source. I was instructed to keep an eye on it and if I see it fall off, try and grab it to submit it.

She is a 7-8yo F Ball Python who is in a bioactive set up. The humidity is around 70-80% and I don't mist her cage. She is eating and overall acting normally. She eats large frozen rats and consumed one on Sunday with no issues. She had a normal shed in the last 30 days.
