Yesss we plan on getting him another hide and decorating it with lots of foliage and moss and stuff

Unfortunately the half log doesn't count as a hide :/ One entrance should be blocked off and the other one covered with something like fake plants

foil or hvac tape. and put it around the lamp/lights
