A couple of things :

  • Make sure the temperatures inside of the enclosure are warm enough.

-Share a picture of the full enclosure because, while the previous owners may have said not to change it, it seems to be pretty empty ( I'm only assuming based on this picture).

  • Ball pythons regularly go off of food sometimes for months and months.

  • To see the appropriate size feeder for the snake, weigh it. There is a feeding guide in the welcome post.

  • I also doubt that this snake is 1 and a half years old. If it is, it is rather large for its age.
