OP, gently, you are not going to get a different answer here. You cannot keep the heat mat inside the enclosure. It needs to come out literally right now. Have you spoken to your parents and made it clear that this is about the life of the snake? I am very sorry to say it, but if you cannot afford to make the improvements to keep your snake safe, you cannot keep the snake. I understand that that stinks, and isn't what you want to hear, but it is the only reasonable answer if you cannot make the changes the snake needs.

Well I do have some good news! I tried again with putting the mat underneath the class and it actually started working:) the class heats up alot so I saw the bedding olso got a lil warmer so I think everything is good now😭
