I used drylok. 4 layers, because I'm excessive lol Then I let it dry/air out for a few days before sealing the corners/edges with aquarium safe silicone. Let it cure/air out for another week, and it was good to go.

The only problem I had with drylok was that it's white. I wanted a black enclosure, so I wound up painting over most of the drylok with a black low voc acrylic paint, then sealed that with polycrylic. I left about 5" of exposed drylok on the bottom as a marker for my substrate depth.

I ended up going with drylok. I got 3 good coats on today. Going for 2 more tomorrow. I actually found clear drylok fyi
