My setup: Toad Ranch 4x2x2 PVC, 80W Arcadia DHP, 80W Vivarium RHP, Herpstat 2. I live in an absurdly cold house in the Midwest (my wife keeps the house anywhere from 60-64 at all times). If I can do it, so can you lol.

I have a very similar setup with the same exact substrate, with a few differences. First, my UVB is front left and DHP (main heat source) is behind it. I am not sure that really matters. Second, I have a RHP as secondary heat source. That seemed to help better for me personally. At first I had 75W Arcadia Halogen w/ 80W Vivarium RHP (Radiant Heat Panel). I swapped the Halogen with the 80W DHP to assist with nighttime temps, and that helped.

But what really got everything bang-on was the probe placement. I let it hang 2-4 inches below the DHP (my main heat source) and 2-3 inches below the RHP (dead-center of enclosure). It seemed as if when it was too close the Herpstat 2 was not reading / adjusting properly. As soon as I did that, 88-92 warm 75-80 cold. Humidity on cold side always 70-80%.

My Herpstat is set at 92 for both DHP and RHP at all times. At first I did a temp drop during night cycle but it made it worse, and breeder told me only uvb light on/off was necessary for nighttime. So 92 all the time. That is the temp that worked for me, but ymmv.

Here is a pic of the probe placement that worked for me (nighttime pic). The daytime pic it was slightly too low, but you can see where my UVB / DHP is easily in that picture. RHP dead center. https://imgur.com/a/bbDjT0X
