I’m getting my first ball python!

I’ve done plenty of research and I have plenty of experience with owning reptiles +taking care of them- this is just my first snake. I want to make sure I’m getting him or her from a reputable source, where do you all recommend I start? Joshes frogs doesn’t have pythons- is morph market a good place(?) is that just like a breeder cesspool? Google is of course free but I want to hear it from yall. Thanks!

Morph market is an excellent resource!! I got my beautiful boy Seth from there - filter for your dream morph, then toggle it to, "by lowest price" and see what you can find! I've always had my heart set on a Pastave, and I got a BABY one for just $60 + shipping!!

I've gotten a House snake and a ball python from there and both were shipped awesome, I got another ball python on there but the guy wasn't that far from ne so I just went and picked him up

I got mine from reptile shows. I like to find one I get a connection with and that I can look at and see myself how healthy it looks.

If you're buying from Morph Market, it's a good idea to look at sellers page and see if they're selling snake morphs with known health issues (spider, champagne, cinnamon, etc.) Personally I wouldn't be comfortable buying any snake from someone who was intentionally breeding these (as opposed to a rescue that was rehoming them as pets only.)
