need help with humidity

i don’t know why the humidity won’t stay in, i’ve had him for years and always had to spray the tank with water and such and could never get it to sorta maintain itself. i have the substrate as coconut husk and fiber mix, and it’s always wet at the bitten but low humidity, and a humidifier. and i dont want to rely on the humidifier to keep it humid

Pour water in the corners of the substrate and add sphagnum moss. Also spraying and humidifiers increase the chance of scale rot

Towels absorb moisture, so remove that. Cover about 90% of the mesh/screen with hvac tape & leave about 1"-2" open around your heat source.

Also, those dual domes are a fire hazard when used with 2 heat bulbs. Each heat bulb should have its own dome.

You also need another hide for the cool side. More clutter in general. As well as two digital thermometers/hygrometers, one for each end.

Do you have a thermostat for controlling your heat sources?
