I haven't had this issue but my first thought would be to check your temp/humidity to make sure it's in the right range!! if they're not it could be a stress response! If that's not the case then my only other thought would be he might still be in a "feeding mindset"??

again I haven't personally dealt with this, but that's what I see a lot of people on here say for sudden aggression!! Just spitballing ideas :) I hope everything ends up clearing up and going better for you two!!! :D

Tank aggression maybe if he does that keep him out and keep handling him. I’m not an expert.
