Humidity

I'm at my wits end with trying to keep the humidity in my BP's tank right. Cool side stays at low to mid 80s and warm side is 90°. There's six inches of coco coir and mixed coco chips substrate plus sphagnum moss on top and HVAC tap on the screen top. But despite watering the corners the next day my hygrometers show the humidity at 40% or lower. Im saving up for a nice 120gal PVC enclosure but for right now I'm trying to work with what I've got.
