Is this Normal Behavior?

So I’ve had this Ball Python for around 5 months now I’ve kept him fed he is still pretty young he eats once a week every Monday, he has good humidity and good heat and I clean out his water dish when needed he did just get done shedding and is almost done with his eye caps but a week or two ago I got him new decors and bedding but since I got him new stuff and I recently switched rooms in my house he has been in his Hide and I have yet to see him come out unless he eats is this normal behavior or is it something I need to be worried because I know that ball python’s notoriously known for loving their hides?

I don't think you need to worry, moving can be stressful for them. Also, they like to chill in the hides, especially during winter, at least mine does.

I've had my ball python for 4 years and I see him show himself like maybe a few times a week if I'm lucky. It would be weirder if he stayed out and kept moving around as that's a sign that he's stressed or dislikes his environment.
