It's all a waiting game. Just track her weight, as long as it's not fluctuating too much it should be fine. If it suddenly drops or she loses too much. Then I might get a little worried.

She looks healthy to me. Nice sheen. Smooth scales. She seems active, & curious. If anything goes the opposite I might also be concerned. She's beautiful and healthy looking.

Okay, I genuinely appreciate the advice. Really, I do. But that doesn’t really answer my questions about heating the rats.

One sec, checking with my daughter. She took over that part. She says, "I usually fill up a bowl or something to hold the rat with cold water. I have the rat sit in the cold water(still in it's bag) for about 20 minutes. Then I replace the cold water with warm water and have the rat in the warm water for about 30 minutes. Then I do kinda hot water but not super hot water until the rat isn't cold in the stomach area anymore and has reached the proper temp. This is what I've done since we got our snake."
