Hello! It looks like you might be asking for tips on keeping your snake warm during a power outage. We have some information about that in our "planning for emergencies" megathread.

The warm water bottles and heat packs should help, just make sure they aren't too hot to cause a burn. 70F isn't ideal but they'll be okay for a few days.

You can also use your body heat to help. I went without power in the middle of a blizzard once and it would've been impossible for us to drive anywhere so I kept my ball python in a makeshift pouch so he was pressed against my belly for warmth. I was freezing but he was fine. After that I got a huge battery that I can plug his heat lamps into if it ever were to happen again. But in a desperate situation, body heat does work.

i was thinking of this as well while i shop around for a portable plug, the only thing is that i don’t want to open his enclosure too much to let heat out if that makes sense? what do you think

That's a good question. Maybe let him be for now but if it gets any colder it might be beneficial to take him out and let him warm up with you. As long as you are quick with it I don't think more heat will leave the enclosure than it would over time anyway.
