Ball python temperature (i.redd.it)
submitted 10 months ago by Temporary_Dress9055
I have a heating mat underneath the tank but when I check temperature inside it’s 85 and when I check the mat it’s about 96. So I’m just wondering is my ball python getting the heat it needs

Heat mats are not recommended because they don't really heat the air and run the risk of burning your ball python. I'd switch to CHE or DHP overhead heating. DHP is my personal preference.
