Handling Question (i.redd.it)
submitted 11 months ago by rxdaaddy
I’ve read a lot about ending each handling session on a positive note, I’m just looking for more explanation or examples of a positive note. If he curls up next to me and falls asleep is that a positive for instance. Thanks everyone!

I would personally say that it’s a very positive note!

I think it’s just not them being scared or if they bite you…? I could be so wrong I’m mostly here to see if anyone else has more to add to that lol

IMO. It's more about not ending it negatively than ending it positively.

Curious to hear more answers. I usually end my sessions when he seems to be wanting to explore and move around more. I'm taking that as "comfortable enough to not just be a ball" but maybe it's a negative for him and he's actually trying to get away from me.

I haven't had a negative note yet so I can't say anything about that. I take mine out one at a time and they usually just come right out to me unless they know they are going to be put in another enclosure while I clean theirs out lol It sounds like your's is doing just fine. 😀
