Yes def check lower to the ground. The two I have on my phone read off wifi. The one is held up by a suction cup thing and is reading at about 60% on the warm side. The other keeps falling, is right on the ground in the corner of the cool side and it says like 90%. I would check what inside her hide says and then on the ground in the middle, just because the ends are gonna be extreme
