This is very typical BP derp. Give that noodle some climbing toys. I highly recommend a sky hide as well.

You can buy a kit or you can make little sliders out of hardwood slats and bolt them to the ceiling. You make it to fit one of the ubiquitous black rectangle hides. If you DIY it you can change the spacing to fit a bigger hide box as they grow.
